Yerevan, Research Center “Region”, 2008 - 184p. How important is the resolution of the Karabakh conflict for the Armenian and Azerbaijani societies and how is it currently perceived by the representatives of various groups in the conflicting societies – writers and film directors, religious figures and psychologists, refugees and the youth? How strongly do geopolitical processes, taking place beyond the region, transform the standpoints of the parties and how does the situation in other international conflicts get reflected in the Karabakh negotiation process? How similar are the Armenian and Azerbaijani realities from the perspective of international organizations, and on the contrary, what is the attitude to European structures and intermediary missions in Armenia and Azerbaijan? The interviews and analytical articles, presented in this collection, are devoted to these three most important aspects of the Armenian and Azerbaijani relations for the period of 2005 – 2008. The collection is notable for enabling the reader to compare the approaches and opinions of the Armenian and Azerbaijani experts, the way they are perceived on the opposite side, as well as the possibility of bringing to light their dynamics over three years. The collection is prepared within the framework of the project Overcoming Stereotypes and Formation of a Common Information Space which was implemented by Research Center “Region” (Armenia) and the Institute for Peace and Democracy (Azerbaijan) with the financial support of the International Organization Resources of Reconciliation. - See more at: http://regioncenter.info/en/publications/35.html#sthash.6W55tYel.dpuf
