he use of the enemy’s image as soft power is a political practice, established ever since the ancient times, the significance of which is especially heightened in various crises, domestic, interstate and interethnic conflicts, and is based on streotypes in mass ethnic consciousness, as a mechanism of identifying “the others” and defending oneself from the latter.
